Hi! Here’s me, Nicolette.
I am a student at DePaul University majoring in Journalism and minoring in Creative Writing, which keeps me writing almost always. I believe with every terabyte of storage in my brain (scientists presume that its capacity ranges from a terabyte to 2.5 petabytes) that the most useful communicative device is that of storytelling. Throughout my time at DePaul, inside and outside my studies, I have been crafting and refining that ability. My tendency to explore the city on the daily and connect with students from other city colleges caters to my expansive lens of the communities that polarize and bind us as identities in a bustling city. My favorite spots to frequent are the Pilsen Art Museum, the Lincoln Park Conservatory, and Under the Gun Theatre.
My work experience extends from leading groups of freshmen throughout their first college experiences during orientation to looking after ailing strays and pets in an animal hospital.
